Hayatomo StraitHayatomo no Seto

Also known as: 早鞆瀬戸・Hayatomo-no-Seto

The narrowest part of the Kanmon Strait between Shimonoseki and Moji. The tidal current reverses four times a day at intervals of about six hours, flowing west on the rising tide and east on the ebb.
