Terms of Service
These Terms set out the conditions for using LoreMania (ご当地マニア検定; the “Service”). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. Streaming, commentary, and video uploads
The Service is designed with streaming in mind. Within the scope below, individuals and companies alike may freely use it for live streaming, recording, and video uploads (including monetization).
- We recommend the installed edition (streaming mode): ad-free, less likely to stall, keyboard control.
- BGM can be turned off or replaced. Adjust to match your streaming platform’s rules.
However, systematically reproducing questions, explanations, sources, or assets to create a substitute for the Service, or presenting yourself as official, endorsed, or partnered, is prohibited. For streaming details, see the streaming guide.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
- Analyzing, modifying, or reverse-engineering the Service; unauthorized access; or excessive automated access.
- Infringing the rights of third parties or the operator, or spreading misinformation.
- Fraudulent ad clicks, or inducing clicks.
- Interfering with the operation of the Service.
3. Intellectual property
Rights to the Service’s content (questions, explanations, logo, images, audio, etc.) belong to the operator or the rightful rights holders. Beyond the streaming and personal use permitted in Section 1, you may not copy, repost, redistribute, or sell it.
4. Trademarks
Names such as “… kentei (quiz)” used in the Service are descriptive uses to explain content. They are unrelated to the bodies that run those exams, and we offer no certification, partnership, or pass guarantee.
5. Disclaimers
- The Service is for learning and entertainment. We do not guarantee results on any specific exam, nor the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the content. Errors can be reported via the form and we correct them where feasible.
- To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, interruption or termination, or data loss.
- The operator is not responsible for the content of external linked sites.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms as needed. Significant changes will be announced within the Service. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
