Also known as: 関門橋

A car-only suspension bridge across the Kanmon Strait. It is 1,068 m long with a central span of 712 m, and the girders sit about 61 m above the sea so large ships can pass beneath. Aviation rules required red or red-and-white paint on such structures, but a grayish green was allowed on condition that obstruction lights were installed.
