Mori TerumotoMori Terumoto

Also known as: 毛利輝元

Grandson of Mori Motonari and founder of the Hagi domain. He began building a castle at Hiroshima in 1589 and moved his seat there, but after the Battle of Sekigahara (1600) he was seen as the head of the western army and was cut down to two provinces, Suo and Nagato, worth 369,000 koku. In 1604 he built Hagi Castle at the foot of Mt. Shizuki and began laying out the castle town.
