Ofuna-uta of Sumiyoshi ShrineOfuna-uta
Also known as: 住吉神社のお船謡・お船謡・御船謡・Ofune-uta
A festival performance at Sumiyoshi Shrine in Hagi that carries on the Mori domain's boat song for the lord's state barge. It is sung atop a float modeled on that barge at the August 3 procession and other rites, and it was designated an intangible folk cultural property of Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1976.
