Also known as: 長州・長州藩・Choshu Domain

Another name for Nagato Province. In the Edo period the Mori clan's Hagi domain, which held Suo and Nagato, was also called the Choshu domain, and Terumoto's move after Sekigahara is told as one from Hiroshima in Aki to "Hagi in Choshu." Many terms carry the name, such as the "Choshu Five."
