A World Heritage property inscribed in July 2015, made up of 23 sites spread across eight prefectures and eleven cities. In Hagi the five components are the Hagi Reverberatory Furnace, the Ebisugahana Shipyard Site, the Oitayama Tatara Iron-making Site, Shokasonjuku and Hagi Castle Town.
