Also known as: 恵美須ヶ鼻造船所跡・恵美須ヶ鼻造船所・恵美須ヶ鼻
The remains of a shipyard the Hagi domain built in 1856 for Western-style sailing ships. It launched the 25 m Heishin Maru in 1856 and the 44 m Koshin Maru in 1860. The first used techniques taught by Russians at Heda in Izu, the second those taught by Dutch instructors at the Nagasaki naval school, and the site became a national historic site in 2013.
