Siege of AizuAizu Sensō

The battle between Aizu domain and the new Meiji government's forces, part of the wider Boshin War, fought from August 23 to September 22, 1868. Government troops set up 50 cannons, including Armstrong guns, on Mount Oda overlooking the castle and bombarded it for roughly a month.
