Sakurayama
A district in southeastern Zushi that forms the Zushi-side location of the Nagae-Sakurayama Kofun Group. One local story about how its detached Sakurayama-Oyama parcel came to belong to Sakurayama holds that, in the Edo period, the neighboring village of Nagae had Sakurayama take over its heavy annual tax-labor burden in exchange.
