Hiroyama

A 100-meter hill in Zushi's Shinjuku district; the park at its summit offers views over Sagami Bay, Enoshima, and Mount Fuji. Its name is said to come from officials who once unveiled tribute goods for the shogun here in the Kamakura period. During WWII it held an Imperial Japanese Navy gun battery, and the summit was developed into a public park in 1958.
