Satsuma KirikoSatsuma Kiriko
A cut-glass craft using thick layers of colored glass over clear glass, developed during Shimazu Nariakira's Shuseikan industrial project. Its signature technique, a gradual fade from color into clear glass, sets it apart, but production died out entirely after Nariakira's death and was only revived starting in 1985, nearly a century later.
