Also known as: Aizu Domain School Nisshinkan

A domain school opened by Aizu in 1803, offering Confucian studies and martial arts alongside an astronomical observatory and a training pool, making it one of the most advanced educational facilities of its time. It burned down during the Boshin War and was fully rebuilt at a different site in 1987.
