Kazue-machi Chaya DistrictKazue-machi Chaya-gai

Also known as: Kazuemachi Chaya District・Kazue-machi

A teahouse district on the left bank of the Asano River, facing Higashi Chaya across the water, named after Toda Kazue, a Kaga Domain retainer whose residence once stood there. It was designated a National Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings on June 9, 2008, the most recent of the three chaya districts to receive that status.
