Choshu KurokashiwaChoshu Kurokashiwa
Also known as: 長州黒かしわ・黒かしわ
A Yamaguchi-original free-range chicken that the prefecture developed over thirteen years using the locally designated natural monument Kurokashiwa fowl. It is produced in Nagato and Mine and was registered under the Geographical Indication system in March 2024 as the prefecture's first free-range chicken meat.
