Sanada-maruSanada-maru

Also known as: 真田丸

A fortified outwork that Sanada Nobushige (Yukimura) built on the southern side, seen as the castle's weak point, during the winter siege of Osaka. It inflicted heavy losses on the attacking Tokugawa forces and raised his fame.
