Tokugawa Yoshinaotokugawa-yoshinao

Also known as: 徳川義直・first lord of Owari

The ninth son of Tokugawa Ieyasu and the founding lord of the Owari Tokugawa domain, one of the three senior branches of the Tokugawa family known as the Gosanke. He based himself at Nagoya Castle and built the administrative foundations of the domain. His private library later became the basis of the Hōsa Bunko collection.
