A museum in Nishi Ward, Nagoya, housing the prized heirlooms of the Owari Tokugawa family — armour, swords, tea ceremony implements, lacquerware, and the celebrated National Treasure Genji Monogatari Emaki picture scrolls. The collection provides an intimate view of the material culture of a senior Edo-period domain.
