Battle of Okehazamaokehazama
Also known as: 桶狭間・桶狭間の戦い・Okehazama
The pivotal 1560 battle in which Oda Nobunaga routed the numerically far superior forces of Imagawa Yoshimoto, vaulting him from a regional warlord to a figure of national consequence. The battlefield is located in Midori Ward, Nagoya, and memorials mark the site today.
