Nobunaga-beinobunaga-bei

Also known as: 信長塀・Nobunaga Wall

A stretch of clay-tile-capped earthen wall preserved within the grounds of Atsuta Jingu. According to tradition, Oda Nobunaga donated it as an offering of thanks after praying for victory before the Battle of Okehazama in 1560. It is counted among the three great earthen walls of Japan.
