Yuigahama

Yuigahama is both the beach and the district covering southern Kamakura, bordered by the Namerigawa River to the east where it meets Zaimokuza. Its wide-open shoreline stretches from Inamuragasaki toward Wakamiya-oji, the avenue leading to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu — a shrine that, by tradition, was first enshrined in this very area (then called Yuigo).
