Also known as: 萩・万灯会・万灯会・Mantoue・Mando-e・Hagi Mando-e
A summer event at the Mori family temples. Each year on 13 August a welcoming fire is held at Daishoin and on 15 August a send-off fire at Tokoji, when candles are lit in the stone lanterns of the graveyards, about 600 at Daishoin and about 500 at Tokoji.
