Also known as: 桜木町駅・桜木町停車場

Opened in 1872 as the terminus 'Yokohama Station' when the railway began, and renamed Sakuragicho in 1915. Closely tied to the birth of Japan's railways, it is one of the gateways to Minato Mirai.
