Negishi RacecourseNegishi Keibajo
Also known as: 根岸競馬場
Japan's first full-scale permanent Western-style racecourse, opened at Negishi in Yokohama in 1866. Begun as recreation for resident foreigners, its site is now Negishi Forest Park, where the surviving grandstand still stands.
