Samukawa Town
A town in Kanagawa's Koza district on the left bank of the lower Sagami River — the only municipality in Kanagawa Prefecture that does not border the sea. It is home to Samukawa Shrine, the ichinomiya (chief shrine) of former Sagami Province, known for warding off misfortune from all directions.
