Fujisawa City
A city near the center of Kanagawa Prefecture, in the eastern part of the Shonan area, whose territory includes Enoshima island. It flourished in the Edo period as the post town of Fujisawa-juku on the Tokaido highway. Preliminary 2025 census figures put its population near 444,000.
