Nara Park
Opened in 1880, this roughly 660-hectare public park spans eastern Nara and encompasses Todai-ji, Kofuku-ji, Kasuga Taisha, and the Nara National Museum. About 1,200 sika deer roam freely across its lawns and grounds.
