Momen Kaido
Momen Kaido is a street in Izumo's Hirata district that preserves the look of a cotton market town from the Edo through early Showa periods. It is designated a nationally important preservation district for groups of historic buildings, lined with townhouses featuring Izumo lattice woodwork and white-walled storehouses.
