Kamiarizuki

Kamiarizuki is Izumo's name for the tenth lunar month. Elsewhere in Japan the same month is called Kannazuki, 'the month without gods,' because deities are believed to be away — but in Izumo it becomes 'the month with gods,' since they are believed to gather there instead.
