One of Japan's Three Famous Spears, now belonging to the Fukuoka Kuroda clan. The folk song 'Kuroda-bushi' tells the tale of retainer Mori Tahei winning the spear from Fukushima Masanori by out-drinking him in a sake contest. The spear is permanently housed at Fukuoka City Museum.
