Also known as: 神屋宗湛
A prominent merchant and tea master of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, one of the Three Great Merchants of Hakata. He worked in close collaboration with Toyotomi Hideyoshi to revive Hakata's trade following the wars of reunification and participated actively in the tea ceremony culture of the era.
