Also known as: 博多三傑

The collective name for three preeminent merchants of the Azuchi-Momoyama period who revived Hakata through overseas trade and patronage of the tea ceremony: Kamiya Sotan, Shimai Soshitsu, and Oga Souku. They leveraged close relationships with Toyotomi Hideyoshi to rebuild the city after the wars of reunification.
