Nisonin Temple
Also known as: 二尊院・楊貴妃の墓・Nison-in・Yang Guifei legend
A temple on the Mukatsugu peninsula in Yuya, Nagato, that keeps the legend of Yang Guifei, the beloved consort of Tang emperor Xuanzong. Said to have escaped execution during the An Lushan rebellion, she drifted ashore at Towatari in a small boat and died soon after; a five-ring stone tower in the grounds is held to be her grave.
