波野そばNamino soba (buckwheat)
Namino soba is buckwheat grown in the Namino district, part of Aso City since a 2005 merger but formerly the independent Namino Village. The area's clear, cool-climate buckwheat grains are prized, and its flowering fields draw visitors when the buckwheat blooms.
