Former Kaji Residence

Completed in 1928 as the villa of Kaji Toshio, Mitsui & Co.'s first branch manager in London, this Registered Tangible Cultural Property was designed by architect Endo Arata, a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright. It's a leading example of a Prairie Style house, marked by heavy use of Oya stone and strong horizontal lines.
