Verny Park

Verny Park, in front of JR Yokosuka Station, was laid out as a French-style garden and completed in March 2002. It looks across the water to the former Yokosuka Ironworks site (now the US naval base), and features busts of Verny and Oguri, roughly 130 rose varieties, and the Verny Memorial Museum.
