Kurihama
Kurihama is a district in southeastern Yokosuka where Commodore Perry's squadron landed in 1853 to deliver the US president's letter to the Uraga magistrate. Today it's home to a JR Yokosuka Line terminus and a Tokyo Bay Ferry pier.
