Enoshima Shrine

A shrine complex comprising three sub-shrines — Hetsu-no-miya, Naka-tsu-no-miya, and Oku-tsu-no-miya — traditionally founded in 552 CE and counted among Japan's three great Benzaiten shrines. Buddhist rites coexisted here until the Meiji-era separation of Shinto and Buddhism.
