Also known as: 仙台城・青葉城
The residence castle of the Sendai Domain, also known as Aoba Castle. Masamune built this hilltop castle on Mt. Aoba, a natural stronghold defended by the Hirose River and steep cliffs. Rather than a main keep, it relied on turrets and stone walls for defense.
