Mt. AobaAoba-yama

Also known as: 青葉山

The hill overlooking the Hirose River on which Sendai Castle was built. It is the origin of the castle's alternate name, Aoba Castle, and is a deeply green area that also encompasses a Tohoku University campus and a botanical garden.
