The collective name for the seven kinds of crafted ornaments hung on the bamboo of the Sendai Tanabata. They are the paper strip, paper kimono, folded crane, drawstring purse, casting net, wastebasket, and streamer, each expressing wishes such as for learning or a good harvest.
