Zakimi Castle SiteZakimi-jo Ato

Also known as: 座喜味城跡・座喜味城・Zakimi Castle

The ruins of a castle said to have been built by the master castle-builder Gosamaru. It is known for a surviving stone arch gate using wedge stones, regarded as among the oldest in the prefecture, and is one of the component gusuku of the World Heritage site.
