Shinkyo Bridge

Shinkyo is a vermilion bridge over the Daiya River and one of the structures belonging to Nikko Futarasan Shrine; legend says two serpents sent by the deity Jinja Daio carried the monk Shodo Shonin across the river and became the bridge.
