Miya-no-Watashimiya-no-watashi
Also known as: 宮の渡し・七里の渡し・宮宿・Shichiri no Watashi
The historic ferry crossing at the Atsuta (Miya) post-station on the Tokaido highway, where travellers boarded boats to cross Ise Bay to Kuwana. This sea route, known as the Shichiri no Watashi, was the only maritime stretch of the Tokaido and required passengers to leave land for an ocean journey.
