Nagasaki Kunchi
Nagasaki Kunchi is the autumn grand festival of Suwa Shrine, said to have begun in 1634. Every year from October 7 to 9, dance and performance offerings take place, and it holds National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property status. The name 'Kunchi' is most often traced to 'kunichi,' meaning 'the ninth day.'
