Nagasaki Harbor
Nagasaki Harbor opened in 1859 alongside Yokohama and Hakodate under the Treaty of Amity and Commerce with the United States. Kobe and Niigata later joined them, making up the 'Ansei Five Ports.' Today its Matsugae International Terminal is known as a port of call for large cruise ships.
