Dutch Slope
Dutch Slope is the nickname for the stone-paved slopes scattered through Higashi-Yamate. It's said to derive from the port-opening habit of calling any Westerner 'Oranda-san' regardless of nationality, and some accounts say it covers several slopes rather than one fixed road.
