D.T. Suzuki MuseumSuzuki Daisetsu-kan

Also known as: Suzuki Daisetsu Museum

A facility honoring the Buddhist scholar D.T. Suzuki, who introduced Zen to audiences overseas, which opened on October 18, 2011. Designed by Yoshio Taniguchi, it consists of an entrance building, an exhibition building, and a contemplation building linked by covered corridors, combining a water mirror garden with a borrowed-scenery view of the adjoining Honda-no-mori forest.
