Kaga VegetablesKaga Yasai

A branded group of vegetables certified by the Kanazawa Agricultural Products Brand Association, founded in 1997, covering varieties that were already being grown in Kanazawa before 1945 and are still cultivated today. Ten varieties were certified that first year, and by 2003 the list had grown to its current 15, including Kaga lotus root and kintoki-so leaf.
