Yatsuashimon Gate
Yatsuashimon Gate stands directly in front of Izumo Taisha's honden, and its name literally means 'eight-legged gate,' referring to the eight pillars supporting its structure. Ordinary worshippers are generally allowed only as far as this gate, not beyond it.
